 AT&T- It is refer as a American Telephone and Telegraph.It was developed as a subsidiary of Bell Telephone Co. (developed by Alexander Graham Bell in 1877) to make lengthy-distance telephone lines and later became the parent company of Bell System. At the start of the  20th century, it obtained a virtual monopoly on the United States. AT&T transferred 30% of the shares and operational control of its United States pay-TV business to a joint venture with  private-equity firm TPG in August, distorting results for the entire September quarter.
